User Research
Building upon the insights gleaned from the company's initial user research, we expanded our investigative efforts by conducting Focus Group Interviews with a select group of Real Estate agents. Following these interviews, we proceeded to craft three distinct personas, each designed to encapsulate the unique perspectives and needs of agents, agencies, and clients. The Agent persona, which is visually represented in the images below, emerged as a key focal point.
Our comprehensive findings can be summarized as follows:
Diverse Workflows: The real estate industry involves diverse workflows that cater to the needs of developers, customers, and collaborating agents.
Platform Complexity: The use of multiple platforms within the industry resulted in fragmented information and, at times, information gaps.
Email Overload: One recurring issue identified was the tendency to send repetitive emails. This practice led to inefficiencies and posed the risk of missing out on crucial details and client communication.
These findings underscored the critical need for streamlining workflows, enhancing data integration across platforms, and reducing the burden of email-based communication within the real estate domain.
Official Website Modification
After conducting in-depth user research, we engaged in a close collaboration with our dedicated UI/UX team to refine and enhance the Teamlink official website. Our joint efforts led to the creation of detailed prototypes for two key sections of the website, namely, the 'About page' and the 'Blog page.' These prototypes were instrumental in visualizing and testing the proposed changes to improve the user experience.
In order to make data-driven decisions and ensure the effectiveness of our modifications, we conducted rigorous A/B tests. These tests were specifically targeted at our internal property agents, allowing us to gather valuable insights and feedback to further refine the user interface and user experience. This step was crucial in guaranteeing that the website changes met the needs and expectations of our key stakeholders.
Following a series of modifications and iterative refinements based on the feedback from our A/B tests, the final prototype was ready for implementation. At this stage, the project transitioned to our capable IT team.
UX Site Map
In the development of our beta testing application, my significant contribution was in crafting the UX Site Map for the new client and agent phone portal. This task entailed a thorough analysis of the user experience, with the goal of enhancing the interaction and usability of the portal for both our esteemed clients and dedicated agents.
Upon completing the Site Map, it underwent a rigorous review to ensure it adhered to the project's goals and met the stringent usability and functionality standards set for our beta testing application. With the finalized Site Map in hand, I handed it over to our highly skilled IT team.
The close collaboration for the implementation was pivotal in ensuring the successful development of our new client and agent phone portal. This approach underscores our commitment to delivering a seamless and user-centric experience to both clients and agents during the beta testing phase of our application, with my contribution playing a critical role in this endeavor. The image presents the site map in iterations.
Interface Development
After successfully developing a custom Design System tailored for mobile and web interfaces, our UX team took on the task of ensuring a consistent and coherent user experience across the TEAMLINK platform.
We initiated a collaborative effort to revamp multiple aspects of the TEAMLINK ecosystem, which included redesigning the business-to-business platform for real estate agents, enhancing the responsive TEAMLINK client-facing project listing homepage on the web (accessible at teamlink.com.au), refining the TEAMLINK agent/client mobile app, and creating a new agency admin mobile app. Our approach was rooted in an iterative design process, enabling us to methodically fine-tune these crucial components for an optimal user experience.
Graphic Design
Working in a start-up environment, we must wear different hats as designers. I also undertake graphic design tasks for bespoke visual communications for the company.
The following illustrations are some graphic-based solutions for awards, webinar banners, social media posts, email signatures, and site analysis.
